Personality!
Bridgette still carries her personality from the pv reel, but with a few personal headcanons sprinkled into it. She is naturally described as ditzy, naive, and usually prone to being a little too overemotional to tears. Before becoming Ladybug in the past, she was closed off and very shy - only occasionally when spoken to directly. She spent most of her time within her own hobbies that kept her happy and content despite her struggles. Now, that confident carried over and overtime she became a social butterfly, who was always eager to make new friends and she can be a bit of a hugger when easily excited. The experience taught her to be more open about her feelings since it was the reason that made her love helping people however she can, and she absolutely adores animals. You could call it her weakness.

This portayal of Bridgette is a heavy mix of the show and pv reel, a little more with leaning on the show itself. Before Marinette's era came along, Bridgette was once Ladybug who protected London with the original Chat Noir, whom is known to be Felix. Upon discussion, instead of Richard Sphinx, the original Hawk Moth is replaced with Felix's father, Colt. But when he passed, they never were able to truly uncover his identity unlike Marinette had with Gabriel. Overtime as the threats upon London less and less until there was nothing left and things seemed to be at peace, that was when Bridgette quietly decided to preannounce her position as Ladybug without telling her own partner. It's what she regrets to this day.Taken place shortly after Marinette had saved Master Fu from nearly getting hit by a car, this is point where Bridgette returned with the miraculous. She wanted to make a personal request to send it herself, in to which he agreed to after seeing how Marinette fit the role well. Being aware of this made Bridgette feel better about her choice, as it wasn't an easy one, and less guilty about it. Due to little known about Sabine's side of the family, I have my own spin on this as well in order to flash out her backstory. She once had the peacock miraculous to create Bridgette ― only to purposely lose it eventually after she was born to focus on raising her and avoid from any further risks since it was damaged at the time. Bridgette is completely unaware about this, meaning that when she got older enough to understand― her mother strongly insists that she never parts with it, which makes Bridgette assumes that it's important in some way she can't seem to figure out.
